Dearest Meditators,

I hope this note finds you well and your summer is off to a good start.

There’s something I’d like to share with you.

Back when I learned Vedic Meditation almost a decade ago, there weren’t any NYC-based resident teachers and certainly no dedicated meditation centers/studios that supported practitioners of Vedic Meditation. At the time, there were a small handful of teachers that would visit from out of town a few times a year to put on a course. Although the technique and the practice utterly transformed nearly every aspect of my life for the better, I did feel somewhat isolated in my experience. A few years later, I became a teacher myself and started sharing this powerful practice with other New Yorkers. I was the second resident teacher of Vedic Meditation in New York City. I began teaching full-time and opened my first studio on Fifth Avenue in 2015 and then my second studio in SoHo at the end of last year with my incredible colleagues at The Spring. Now there are more than 20 resident teachers in New York and multiple separate dedicated spaces to support Vedic Meditators.

As you may have noticed, I’ve been spending a lot of time in Ohio. After a few years of thoughtful consideration, my wife and I have decided to move our primary residence to Cleveland, Ohio. This was not an easy choice. I was born in New York City and spent most of my childhood and my entire adult life there. My immediate family is still in New York, as well as my closest friends, and most of you reading this right now– my beloved students who have provided me the incredible honor and privilege of sharing this meditation with you. Thank you.

Although leaving my roots has not been easy, I’m excited for this next chapter. I very much look forward to the great adventure of being the first resident teacher of Vedic Meditation in Ohio. And I will still be teaching in New York! I plan to be back regularly every 6 to 8 weeks.

I am, of course, still as committed to supporting you with your practice no matter where I am located. I’m available remotely for Office Hours, Breathwork and Personal Coaching. I’m also planning to offer Group Meditation/Knowledge Meetings and Breathwork workshops remotely as well.
