HOW TO OWN YOUR TIME
We’re busier than ever.
We have more to do and it feels like there’s never enough hours in the day to get done everything we NEED to do.
More often than not, we don’t have the time to get a chance to do what we WANT to do.
Regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or socioeconomic status, the one commodity we all share equally is TIME.
We tend to think of our time very linearly. Meaning, if we spend a few minutes meditating, that’s time we can’t spend working, or exercising, or watching a show.
But the truth is meditation gives us MORE time.
Stress steals time away from us.
Do you procrastinate when you feel overwhelmed?
Stress puts our mind and bodies in to state of over-excitation. It’s exhausting and we become un-productive.
The profound deep rest experienced with our Access Meditation program (exponentially deeper than sleep) heals our bodies of the effects of decades of accumulated stress and provides us with energy and clarity so that we can be infinitely more productive, efficient and available in all of our relationships and endeavors.
When we practice Access Meditation, a 20 minute meditation feels like we slept for 1 to 2 hours. Do that twice a day, and it’s the equivalent of get an extra 3 to 4 hours of sleep.
Imagine how much more you could do with all that extra rest.
Even as little as 10 minutes of meditation, once a day, makes a significance difference.
Let me give you a personal example:
Back when I learned to meditate, I was a junior attorney at a large international law firm in New York City. My work days were typically 13 to 14 hours long. I would show up at 8am and leave around 9pm or 10pm on a good day.
I didn’t think I had time to meditate. But when I did, I actually got more work done in less time.
Before meditation, if I had a small project assigned to me at 9am when I was still relatively fresh, it would take me a hour to complete.
But if I was given the same small project at 9pm after I had been working for 13 hours and was completely exhausted and overwhelmed, the same project would take 2 or 3 hours.
All that changed when I took some time out of my day to meditate.
It was like I was operating on a full battery all day long.
I was equally efficient at 9pm as I was at 9am!
